Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) is a service that allows you to charge for a transaction in the card holders home currency when making a purchase in a foreign country. This means that they can see the exact amount they will be charged in their own currency before they complete their transaction.

When using DCC, the merchant's point-of-sale terminal will calculate the cost of the transaction in the cardholders home currency, using the current exchange rate. The card holder will then see the cost in their home currency and will then be given the option to pay in either the local currency or your home currency.
